Twenty years ago, our former director started with a handful of notebooks and pens for children who had no hope of education. But the need was greater. Soon we found ourselves on the roadside, caring for the homeless—cutting their hair, giving them showers, changing their clothes, feeding their hungry bodies, and tending to the sick and mentally broken. We admitted them into hospitals, walked them through rehabilitation, and never turned away. That small seed of compassion has now grown into a mighty tree. Today, more than 1,000 children go to school every year through our support. Through youth and women training programs, countless families have seen the light of hope rise again in their lives. We continue our social missions across many sectors, helping the feeble, the orphan, and the semi-orphan. From pens and paper to transformed lives—this is the story of NHFG.
